The long awaited Post #78 December 30, 2006
I’m sure I can count on the ‘fam’ to let me know if it worked this time. I am also happy to announce that I am now a proud owner of a flickr account and steve has already put in a request for pictures of eric at the zoo. But I shouldn’t get a head of myself, I still don’t know if the masses can see the emperor’s new clothes.
I like your minimalist approach.
sometimes there are not words.
Very true, Rauschenberg. But sometimes there are not images either. At least not on my end.
Megan, you realize, some of your siblings live for moments like these.
Megan, all I know is that this is the most intelligent thing that has been posted on the blog site so far.
Maybe it’s like the Emperor’s New Clothes, because it shows up on my computer just fine. But I will try it again.
Observation: This particular blog entry has earned more comments than those posted thus far. Why? (Hanging out w/Eric for a few days has had an effect on me. I think?)
Meg, you need to make sure the image is on the internet somewhere (and not just on your computer which only you have access to). If you email it to me, I will put it up for you.
Oh my.
Somehow, I never pictured Joseph with shaved legs.
There were a few thoughts that entered my mind…
I am glad Barbara saw this picture after we were married
Did someone superimpoze legs on my body but forget to shrink them down to the right scale?
Can my seminary brother really not put the leafy underwear and tossed apple together and not realize that I was Adam and not Joseph?
Nice picture
Thanks Meg… an artist can always recognize a good pic…Leah was pretty cute.
Whoops. Sorry. I never even saw the apple - I was so mesmerized by the legs. But I’m not changing my vote to Adam, rather I think you look like Mr. Tumnus.
I just asked Haley who you were dressed as, Matt. She thought you were the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Haley’s is definitely on to something.
I’m not sure if I am authorized to post a comment here, but I would disagree with The Cool One on his character in the picture above. He is not Adam. I don’t care how many apples he’s holding or how many ribs he’s missing. He is totally Bob Saget from “Full House” and “America’s Funniest Home Videos”.
Matt, you are extremely fortunate that Barby didn’t see this one pre-wedding.
Your faithful friend and missionary,
Jesse
